A little bit more than one year ago, we also attended the pressconf. of the most exciting fightsport event in Europe: It`s Showtime Amsterdam

This time it was It`s Showtime single turn. K-1 was not involved at all. But anyway there was the same great fightcard and perfect organisation than the years before.

On the 15.05.2009 the open pressconference was held at the Clause Center in Hoofddorp.
The pressconf. startet at 13:30 o`clock and lasted until approx. 15:00 o`clock.

All the attending fighters were introduced to the press and the press itself had the possibility to ask questions to the fighters or Simon Rutz himself.

The pressconference is always held in a very professional way in order to serve the media`s needs. The ballroom is a huge and nice location and one can realy enjoy the nice atmosphere inside.

Several questions were stated to Melvin Manhoef, that showed a very big interest in the fight vs. Stefan Leko. People were expecting a fast KO by Manhoef via Leko. Stefan was also asked to give a statement, but he verbally postponed it to the next day: “I`ll give the answer in the ring tomorrow.” And the audience should remember these words at the next day…

After making some photos and talking to a lots off fighters and some friends, we quit the Clause Center, in order to check in at our hotel.

16.05.2009: The fighting day…

Arrived at the Amsterdam Arena we found a completely sold out Arena. Approx. 18.000 visitors attending one of the most interesting fightevents of the year. A perfect fightcard, perfect organisation and awesome atmosphere lead to a highly sportive and entertaining spectacle. As we were again allowed to enter the lockerrooms, we caught up some interesting pics backstage and from the event. Our report combines our pictures with the official It`s Showtime pictures made by Ben Pontier/European Fighting Network.

Approx. 700 pictures are waiting for you. 2 Days impressions should be interesting for any of the fightsportfans. Maybe we can encourage you to attend the 2010 event in the same place when it is again time for It`s Showtime.
