31.05.2008 Beast of the East in Zutphen

After 1,5 hours drive we arrive at the Hanzehal in Zutphen. It was approximately 18:00 o`clock - right before the start of the main event. The parking place was extremly full and it seemed that the event was nearly sold out. After parking our car (very smooth and well organized), we entered the hall via the VIP entrance. This year we followed the invitation of Tom Wesselink. (thanks again - it was an awesome event.)

After looking around and some small talk with friends, we took place at one of the tables. The hall was totally fully with audience, but the people had enough room and palce. So this was perfectly organized and absolutely recommendable. Drinks were served and a buffett was available.

We enjoyed very much, attending this event. After meeting some friends like Andy Souwer, Remy Bonjasky and Stefan Leko with Ramon Dekkers, we fully concentrated on the sportive side of the happening.

Very surprising to us was the strength of William Diender. We didn`t expect the result of his fight.

I was also wondering about the appereance of Tyrone Spong. I thought he would lay in hospital.
After some words to the fans and with big hurt (Everybody could see it easily) he went back from the ring to his table.

But now have a look at the impressions we took with our camera and enjoy the pictures.
